Took this shot in October 27 in the forest 20 minute away by car. I liked it because of the big contrast.

There's not only contrast between the front tree and the golden-lit trees behind it, but also between the top of the photo---with all the light---and the bottom of the photo---in all that shadow. And also between the background tree trunks, all of which are in various shades of shadow, and the upper portions of those trees. And a wonderful leafy feel to the leaves, whether in shadow or light. This is a beautiful, contrasted shot of your area. And your crop makes us zero in on the concentrated power of these sights. I love it.
