lenord speaks of an old vinyl LP and the bees stinger as the needler---yes, definitely! Strong contrasts, and an eerie upside down world in this very fine play with andrea's image. In zoom, there are lots of gradations of hue, and eerie translucence too. And I love the bee's hairs in that stark white---like it's wearing its winter coat. Fine transformation, Mike; and I love when artists riff off of other artists; I hope you do more of this. With all that dark in front of the bee, it looks like he's entering a great abyss.
