the mirror makes her look bigger, I think---not a "slimming mirror," in any case. It's a rich, striking image, with both her and her reflection looking stunning in this very dark ambience. Your light is quite dramatic. Also, the mirror removes the sheen from her outfit---she's more "matte" in the reflection. I love how you have her touching her hand in the mirror. A meeting of the two worlds. And the rest of the image is doused in dark light, with beautiful purples in the floor, ottoman (seat, etc) and in that bottle on the bureau. And the rest is mysterious shadow. She looks very determined like she's peering into herself. A very well done evocative image to start the week. Once again, I love how you celebrate beginning and ends of weeks,etc. Beautiful, striking work, Steve. And I hope the holiday season is blessed for you too!
