Description
Christmas is a time of giving, even when its perhaps just an act of random kindness toward a stranger.
Now Fire Trolls, as all the world knows, love gemstones. Green gemstones the best. And the people of Olga's village decided this year to extend a hand of friendship toward this lonely, solitary creature who dwells in the mountains just beyond their small village. He was seldom seen, and never evil or bad toward them, just unknown.
No one had ever done such a thing before, for him. The Fire Troll was moved deep inside his heart of stone. If tears could have been shed, he would have shed tears. But he had nothing to give in return, except his friendship.
But isn't that the greatest gift we can give to anyone? To just try to get along, despite our differnces. To care and show kindness, instead of impatience and disregard. Maybe then we can learn that we aren't so different after all.
