Description
Not sure if this was a private home or an art gallery - there were no identifying signs that I could see, so I assumed it was a private house with an artistic resident. It was located in a narrow alley, so this was as much as I could get in a single shot. The most bizarre sculpture that was on display, though, is not included in this picture - I'll be posting that next...

I know the experience of wanting to move a building out of the way in order to get the shot. Or several trees. Or a road. You can't reason with concrete and brick, I find...But oh, is this a wonderful shot. You got the hues in your usual standout fashion. And the crop is a framed work of art. Wonderful interplay of strange objects, those deep red shelves, that deep-set window on the right, that funky stone walkway, and all the wonderful decay on the wall and door lintel, etc. Terrific facade work once more, Claude. This is a beauty. (There are puns for "lintel" btw---lintel soup---but I let them pass. It's also the quality of having too much lint...) That wall looks like it's been worked over many times, creating a really layered effect. What a wonderful picture this is!

Wow! What an amazing thing to find! I agree with the above, the colours and textures are stunning, and how wonderful that there exists a place where art like this is left alone and not vandalized in any way! Wouldn't happen here, that's for sure. Fabulous shot!

I've just been looking over your gallery, enjoying seeing what I've missed, and this image is the one that jumped out at me. I'm sure that won't surprise you ... it's so much the sort of thing I love to see. :) I am thoroughly enjoying your trip, even though I'm not here every day to see what's new.
