Came across this pic, Jenna, my first Munster, puppy Hester, my second & Border Collie Flissie. Happy fond memories.
When I lost Hester, she was twelve & a half, I adored her. She LOVED Christmas. Always in the thick of it on Christmas day, paper stuck to her, opening every ones presents. After I lost her, I just couldn't listen to Christmas songs when the shops played Fairytale of New York I had to walk out. I dreaded hearing it. I am getting better but Hester was everything to me. I told her everyday that I loved her.
Now every morning I tell Miss Meadow how special she is (which she is after her serious illness this time 3 years ago). I do love all the girls though :o))))

Oh what lovely memories I remember those times with you and your pets, where did the time go??? It is at this time we do seem to think of those loved one's that have passed, and it is so hard isn't it, but we have to hang onto their cherished memories and think of those happy times spent with them. :( hugs and love xxxxxxx

Those really are precious memories. And bless Miss Meadow for hanging in there. I know how you feel about Hester. Like you, I told Slinky I loved her every day, and I miss her more than I can say.

It appears Christmas played a big part in Hesters life, thanks for sharing !
No time of year is good to say goodbye but Christmas appears to be one of the worse-- thankfully Miss Meadow pulled through and three years later is still wagging her tail for you. God willing she will be here for a very long time yet.
