I know that feeling. We had a plethora of mice running around the greenhouses when we moved here. It was actually fun to sit and watch them running around the far end of one of the greenhouses. Then it got colder and we noticed chewed pasta boxes, rustling in garbage bags, scurrying in walls, etc. The night one ran across my head in bed I drew the line. I used traps with peanutbutter until Caitlin started to crawl then switched to child-proof poison trays. My "Live and let live" policy ends at my house frame.

I think this mouse got a pretty good send off. Not only is there remorse felt over it's loss, but this publishing is better than being listed in the obituaries. (I mean really, how many people actually even read the obits?) ... and how many mouse deaths get reported each year? (much less, receive a dedication in an art gallery?) I think you'll be forgiven for this one. R.I.P. little critter.

A really quirky look at an overdose that didn't have to happen. If people would just ban peanut butter, things like this could be avoided. But all you pea-nutters out there will just shrug and say that peanut butter isn't a privilege , its a right. Tell that to this poor mouse. To funny !!!!!

Truly I have no idea which way to go with this. I don't know if there is a deeper meaning to this, or if it is just a fun image. Or if there is statement here on the state of human indifference to lesser creatures. I personally have no problem whomping on a vermin's head. Though, human vermin can't be whomped on, which is a source of frustration for me. I guess I'll just say, 'RIP mouse, for you may be a great tiger in the next life.
