A blend of several Christmas lights in the city
(I don't have the beauteous array of Denise's holiday shots, so I offer a concoction of my own...)
Thanks so much for your visits,

Very cool. It looks like a storm with colored snow. And the street light makes a perfect substitution for the Star. Here's a thought that just occurred to me, why is it the best Christmas images and the best Christmas songs are created by Jews?

Oooh, this is the exact thing I feel when I see a beautiful light display, the feeling that I try to capture, but you've got the whole feeling of magic, not just the colours. Well done!!!

wonderful work on this scene love the layers
Mark brings up a great question

Oh yes, Mark, you have entered into helanker art territory with this multi composited layer display of various colors, objects, and text, which not only suggests Christmas, but Halloween as well, what with the spooky barren tree, the veritable spotlight at the center, and whatever that's supposed to indicate at the extreme right. I wonder why I think of the Kabbalah when I look at this. But I digress. Great job on this holiday effort, Mark. And Happy Hanukkah.

I do love seeing all the colorful lights this time of year. Wonderful festive colors in this lovely work, and the winter mood, and the hot pink and red area and glow in the center gives it a heart of radiating warmth. A joyful holiday wish for you, too, Mark.

I love what you've done with this. It's a glorious combination of images (whatever the originals were) that come together to form a cohesive and beautiful whole. I get the feeling that if I walked down the street and peeked around a corner quite quickly, I would see this vision. It's brilliant work, and a wonderful finished piece.
