A very unique series, and such sharp, so one can really admire all the textures nature gives us for free, hehe! Bravo again, my friend. (hoping your eye is some better)

more amazing detail in this ongoing series of trees and their trunks. (That phrase sounds like a bunch of trees, carrying heavy trunks, as if they were going into the army...or the name of a child's book on trees, "Trees and Their Trunks"...) The fungus on all three is amazing; and each is so different from the other! The bottom left one looks like a piece of metal tubing that someone spilled oatmeal and rocks on; and the right-side one looks like cotton is growing out of it! Such variety in these shots, and great angles on those felled trunks. A beautiful trio of shots! I didn't realize you had these! And I'm rooting for your eye, and I hope it gets better soon!

There's fungus among us, and it looks so alien. You are so fortunate to have fungi in your area, Helle. They are so interesting with their wide variety of shapes and textures. Every so often we'll get a couple of mushrooms in the grass but that's about it. Great captures of the various types in this stellar triptych.

Now that's very cool, Helle. We don't see that often here, so it's very interesting to see!
