Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

Great photo and info! I had forgotten about this place that I visited as a kid until seeing this photo.

Great capture of this beautiful structure. I love the texture of the stones against the sky. Beautiful!

Arizona is the best -- that is why we live here! Nice photo; however you are a little green. The Kaibab stones are a light bronze in real life. With the sunlight on the stones they will be golden. Bump your green down slightly, and you are good to go.
