no "a white sport coat", and "blue suede shoes", but I like the song "Blue Suede Shoes" by Carl Perkins recorded and released in 1955. the "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Carnation" was a song with words and music both written by Marty Robbins. it was recorded in 1957

Great capture Richard. I remember Marty Robbins' song. He was one of my favorites and he was from Glendale, Arizona. My favorite Marty Robbins' song is 'El Paso'.

I love your title, and this shot has a wonderfully skewed and wild angle, with the beautiful car sweeping back like it was doing a heavy yoga posture. Big long stretch to this shot! With that hood just cuttin' up the shot and making a big statement. Your wide angle gives real movement to these captures, as it does here; and you bring out the pink beautifully. And that right wall, all tilted back like that? Real photographic fun and drama. Considering the cramped spaces you have to shoot in, you get a huge amount of drama in them. I love this shot. The real thunderbird---from Native American lore---would probably say "yes!" to this beautiful beast.
