When Alencon, the Duke's youngest son, was wandering around some of the meanest neighborhoods, he came upon the strangely ornate cleaver that a peddler was selling. Without hesitation he bought it for the price the peddler asked and it didn't take him long to discover the "power" it held within it. What he wasn't aware of was that this cleaver was referred to as "The Blade of Hate" by many wise men. In the coming months he would be fortunate enough to be a Duke himself as all of his kinsmen died in a pointless fued. As the sole heir, he found it difficult to decide whether he was very fortunate or unfortunate.
