Description
Bad guys on the run? Good guys after the bad guys? Where are their supplies? Why do they want to cross the river?
There's a story in there, but these characters refuse to speak to me... Probably bad guys, then.

yes, it does have a sense of option-weighing, the people are clearly focussed on a place well out of frame, and they're placed in harmony with the background (ie the lines of their heads flows with the lines of the peaks immediately behind them). The foreground is beautifully textured, with swirl lines in the rock. And the background is beautifully hazed, fogged, misted; with hints of peaks back there, with that beautiful river below. You've always handled atmosphere beautifully, Craig, and this is a perfect example. The bright white at top is very affirming, and these amber green patinas give it an air of real mystery. Beautiful work, once more.

I love the dusty, bright atmosphere this has. Both versions are terrific, of course, but this one captures my imagination more.
