Description
I am so sorry I haven't been around for quite some time but I fell off my horse again! I think I am getting too old to jump him. My balance is not what it used to be. This time I busted my right knee and can't walk or drive or sit with my knees bent, like in front of the PC. The pain is still pretty awful and its been two months. I had to go for an MRI scan of the knee so I will find out if I tore some ligaments. If I did I will need surgery and that will lay me off again. I'm not sure at this point if I can ever ride again, because you use your knees to ride. I'm also sick of getting hurt. The doctor said every rib in my body has been broken. I am 64, so I guess I had a long time to ride. 30 years or more. The girl with the riding outfit is my riding instructor, Tara. I had to use three generation of Vicky to get clothes to fit. V3 for the cast on the leg, M4 for the doctor, who is Greg by the way, and V4 for the nurse. Tara is G2 so I could find a riding habit for Vicky to wear. So many of the riding clothes are wrong. Nobody has worn puffy pants in 40 years, LOL! The helmets are always wrong, too. You'd think the vendors would look at a book. Well, I am going to try to catch up with your wonderful stuff tonight. An excellent image. My wife and I know about torn knee ligaments. She is doctoring her knee with on now. Only a small tear but she said is was more painful than childbirth! Thankfully it is healing on its own and she feels a lot better. She twisted her leg while vacuuming of all things! I hope you get well and are able to get around good again. Perhaps now you need to think about how you spend the rest of your life? Take care and I pray whatever decision you make works out for you! Good story, good image ... I hope you have a speedy recovery. I'm just being nit-picky here though, the trainer's feet aren't standing naturally. and her toes look broken. I'm just saying this because it distracts from an otherwise wonderful image. I actually am a little jealous, I can count the times I've ridden a horse on both hands ... I miss it and it's been many decades. I love horses and never got the opportunity to ride as much as I would have liked (even though I lived in Wyoming).

Sorry about that accident of yours... I hope it's not that bad and you make a full recovery. even if it may mean that you may not be able jump your horse any more, but that you can at lease ride.. there's nothing worse than not being able to do those things that make one happy!..

I read before of your accident. I hope you heal very quickly from your corrective surgery. talk about falling, my male dog decided to stop right in front of me while walking them today, and I fell. he was not even suppose to be on my right side. Eve stays on the right and Bodie the left. luckily all I did was got grass stains on my denims.

Oh bummer another fall, maybe still ride (just slowly!), but no more jumps, although 30 years isn't a bad run.
