I just realized that today is Jacomina's Birthday. Wishing a lovely day to an admirable and talented photographer!
So here's a double birthday party photo because 1)these are newborn Orange Julia butterflies and 2)they are having a "party" of their own.
(will catch up on comments a little bit later) and thanks for looking.

Superb catch Maria, this party appears to me, as if it is already in big swing and if I may add - this also looks like, as if one had already a little bit too much to drink - it drank itself under the table, or just taking a rest ?
Anyhow, this is the sort of photo Jacomina would love and I am wishing her many more Birthday Celebrations and all the best of health ...

wow, a beautiful capture of butterflies all gathered together and dancing. And the detail and hues are beautiful. They're deep amber/slightly light orange, with mild browns mixed in. And they're against those big bulbous leaves...a beautiful shot, Maria, you're so very good at this. And it's beautiful for Jacomina---happy birthday, Jacomina! And many, many more!
