Wishing all my friends at Renderosity a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Again, a recently taken photo of the nativity scene in the Cathedral of Lund as a reminder to us all of the reason for Christmas during the last the mad dashes to the temples of commerce. I was in town this afternoon, buying some food for myself and for Kitty. The traffic was something (imagine, so many cars in a medieval city) and the crowds something else again. Many Swedes still stick to the "tradition" of running out and purchasing in the last minute! Then they are so tired they can't relax. Seen from the outside, this is all very comical. I do my Christmas gift purchases throughout the year, then send the packages in the end of November. No fuss, no muss, no last minute anxiety. And they arrive in time. Just like God's Christmas gift to us!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you from all of me (and, yes, that includes T.Rex and Summer who's hiding in the bathroom on the potty. I don't know why she doesn't want to come out. Any guesses?).
ENJOY!

A most lovely reminder of what CHRISTmas is really all about. Wonderful photo, my friend!
After Thanksgiving you can't get me near a shopping mall or Walmart for love or money...... It seems like when you get that many people together all on a mission, they take on the mentality of a herd of sheep - or is that a flock?
I do most of my shopping early and on-line - although his year, I did wait until the week before Christmas to get my wife a new printer - but I went on my lunch break, so I only had to dodge a minimal amount of sheeple.. LOL
A big Merry Christmas to you and the Big Guy (and Summer, too.....Hope she's recovered from whatever she's gotten into this week....)
