Thank you for taking a look!
Wanted to build a StarWars character and R2-D2 seemed to be the easiest other then the newest droid which is just a sphere, But there are a lot of parts to this little guy!!. Model done and refining the finishes and lights. Thought of doing the grunge finish but kind of like the new paint version.
Next going to place him into a scene and project the Princess.
In this scene the trooper is a photo background.

That's a pretty solid looking model of R2. For as much as I loved BB-8, it is def not as complex, ha.

well, I know nothing of model work, so I can only assume this is painstaking and exacting work. Your r2 d2 is meticulously done, and has very bold bright hues and clarified lines. And I assume the angles take thought too. Very well done. Must be fun to do this after seeing one of the films!
