Merry Christmas, everyone! I pretty much always use dynamic hair from Poser's Hair Room, but have become increasingly frustrated with the styling tools. I recently got the idea to attempt to create basic hair props without really using the styling tools at all. Here's the result of my first attempt. All the "style" the hair has is due to initial grouping, settings and draping. The only use I made of the style tools was to shorten the bangs and move them very slightly away from the center of the face. It's not perfect, but it doesn't look like the hash I frequently get when the styling tools don't operate as expected. This hairstyle has six groups, three for each side. At some point, I plan to test the same concept using just two (one per side). Rendered in Superfly with custom hair shaders.
