Sculpted in ZBrush, painted over in Photoshop. Just a concept art/fan art. Looking forward to revisiting this when I've gotten my updated version of this model into Poser. This dragon is based off of Anne McCaffrey's books "Dragonriders of Pern." The series' genre actually isn't fantasy. The "dragons" are just extra-terrestrials. This could still be categorized under fantasy, since this is now a concept behind many modern dragons, but the time and energy that the author poured into describing the biology of these things, and the time I put into design them true to the canon fuels a personal drive to call it what it is, haha.
