I also think that it is a lily...but never had seen with this colors. So BEAUTIFUL! I also love the texture of tree in the background. Beautiful gift for Helle :))

after commenting on your Yuletide image, I've gone chronologically, trying desperately to catch up on everything that went up since Christmas Eve day. I finally come back to your gallery, and comment on this! A beautiful flower shot, Harry, one of your many. And it stands out beautifully against that bark, which you've made a gentle background, in hue and shadowed lighting. Helle couldn't recognize the flower, but you say it's a Canna. You captured a bouquet of them, with beautiful clarity of red spots and bursting yellows. (You pick up the yellow in your caption.) A loving message to Helle too...I think, after her huge family gatherings, she probably won't be going to Copenhagen anytime soon, lol, but it's a nice wish, as they're only about an hour away. (She lives in a beautiful little peninsula on the North Sea...real country resort land...) Beautiful flower work, Harry. Happy Birthday, Helle! And many many more!....It's great to see you back here, Harry. All the best with your back...I hope you have some relief!
