Description


The Reno-Benteen Defense is located about five miles southeast of Custer's Last Stand . It was here where Reno's and Benteen's troops were trying to cross the Little Bighorn River and were killed by Indian snipers hidden in the ravines and bushes overlooking the river.There was no communication between Reno- Benteen and Custer. Real history.. But looking now and in hindsight, you have to wonder why they chose the 'low' ground.. Little choice I imagine.. We will never really know.. Great shot. Rob
