A quick render of an old weapon I am recreating, Katana Slash. For those of you not 'in the know', Slash is the name of a magick weapon, forged for the god of death, Tyr-Kashin. When he was killed by another god, Slash was thrown into a random dimension and ended up on Earth, where he lay buried beneath the sands of the Middle East for thousands of years. When the mutant called Snapper was born, Slash sensed his great power, and, leaving the desert, sought him out. Snapper now wields Slash, whom he has turned into one of the most powerful weapons in existence. Slash can duplicate himself into the form of other weapons, and this particular version, the katana version, is favored by Snappers wife, Sonja Red, the carefree, hyperactive half of her persona and body. This is a work in progress, and still has much more work to be done, but I thought I would post it here for now. Built in Truespace, rendered in DAZstudio.
