Full size, this is both monumental and delicate...if a bird could choose how it would like to be seen, this would be it. Beautiful pose and clarity, yet it's soft---you never sacrifice gentleness for sharpness; and it's beautifully posed on one side, letting the background envelop it; with that sole branch to give it company...a beautiful, noble shot. Such a beautiful bird. Hawks are my favorites among the raptors. Every summer I can observe a pair of them when they are hunting. They live in a church tower nearby in 60 meters high. An excellent photo!!
