Hi. My real name is Gary and I live in the state of Ohio about 20 miles due north of Cincinnati. My professional background is in mechanical engineering. I studied at the University of Cincinnati. The first half of my career was spent on the drawing board and the second half at a Unigraphics workstation.
But, I have always dabbled in art. I started using Poser when it was first introduced. And, I also started using PhotoShop with version 2.5, in the early 90's.
When I had my home based Product Design & Illustration business, I very often super imposed Victoria 2 into my product renderings just for a human size reference. Poser has really come a long, long way, since those early days. The product content at Renderosity, DAZ, Content Paradise, YURdigital and RDNA is just amazing. The vendors at these sites are incredible.
I really like working in 3D space. That's why I also have Bryce, Carrara and Rhino 3D in my toolbox, as well.
The profile picture is from my pre-UC days. I'm the one with the Rickenbacker.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. See ya!

Cool design. Don't know anything about the tools you used to create this work. Surely sometime during the year, I'll find that out too. I am trying to learn 3D modelling myself

I use Carrara to create the plane with a 16 x 9 ratio and then mapped a weather radar image to it in Photoshop. The rest was assembled in Poser 2014 Pro.
