this whole danube series has gotten me to study a bit about these parts of E. Europe. I didn't realize, until your posts, that Czechoslovakia is now the Czech Republic, and 'Slovakia' is now the Slovak Republic. And it all happened in the 1990's. I've probably referred to "Czechoslovakia" in your uploads without even realizing that the split took place a while back. And also, your series have shown us an amazing spirit---and an avant garde one at that---in these cities. We have certain cities in the states with that spirit, but only certain ones. And I don't mean because of the 'run', but because of the way they do it. The shot bristles with saturated hues, and the background is wonderfully bright; and that painted wall (or whatever it is on the right) is a great burst in the background. Love the shot and feel of those beaming faces.
