Description

The ruins are on a small island in the middle of Lake Olaesailin. Nyra must navigate this large lake in the early morning hours before the winds pick up. Later in the day the surface becomes choppy and there is a real danger that her small boat would capsize. When she arrives at the island she knows of a cove where she can take shelter. The cove even has a boat dock, but it is old and Nyra prefers to land her boat on the shore rather than risk falling through the old decaying deck boards. Here she is seen arriving at the island just as the fog is starting to burn off. She is accompanied by Spirit, a wolf she found on the island. Just a baby and abandoned by its parents, Nyra couldn't leave it there alone. She befriended the little whelp and returned home with him. Spirit is now fully grown and has become Nyra's protector and loyal companion. ----- When I was working on this scene Nyra looked very lonely and I thought she needed a companion, I love dogs and a Wolf seemed perfect to me.
