Description
My first post of 2016. Thusfar the year seems suspiciously like the old one. I'm afraid it may be a classic bait-and-switch. Now, regarding this image . . . I have not done a render of a wizard for quite some time. I really love the textures for the Noel M4 character by MortemVetus so I used that as a base rather than my typical go-to of Nalfar. The costume and base morphs are from the Great Wizard series by good old Mec4D. The message, if any, of my render is that the holidays do have a type of magic about them and that there's a connection between Old Father Time, Father Christmas, and Merlin (or Gandalf, or Dumbledore, or whoever the wizard of your choice may be).
Post-processing in Lo-Fi.

This has some real magic to it. His face is the face of the ages. What a really wonderful geometry and texture. All of the textures are fabulous as is that magical background. I think you captured wizardry's essence. Really a fine job.
