Description
A new situation on my Enterprise. I worked two days to make a working texture for the typical anti-skid floor of modern carrier decks. I think this works fine. An E-1B Tracer is landing on the USS Enterprise. We are in the mid 60ies, may be on Yankee Station...
There is one failure. I painted the typical NG hook code of the carrier wing then on Enterprise. The Tracer was not part of the carrier wing, it was a detachment of a separate AEW wing with hook code RR, stationed on Enterprise. Well, I will repaint the tail one day...

You did a terrific job on this! I really like the deck texture, it was worth the work. The worst part of doing a close up on these large models is that the texture starts to blur out and look unrealistic at close-ups. You've really overcome that with all your work and this looks fantastic. I also like the poses and the array of aircraft typical of the era. The atmosphere is perfect for the scene as well. Excellent, a really satisfying render!

Thank you. Well, textures with bitmaps are a problem for close-ups. I did it with the on board possibilities of C4D, with some layers of reprocedural build-in textures. I reworked the picture with the A-4C on catapult too and there the picture is much better.
