Great shot of this beauty Richard. In 1961 I had a '52 Pontiac, similar looking but nearly in as good a shape. As a matter of fact, I blew the engine!

Isn't that the most glorious paintjob? I adore all forms of the candy flake, though they don't seem to hold up as well as the regular matte colors. (I have a blue version of this and it's peeling off my car, alas--even with waxing. The car is a '96 though and not garaged so it's not really a fair test.)

oh man, you really caught the hue on this, you have to have good settings and a sharp eye to get a hue like this. It's almost like a glowing ember---it's beautiful. That glowing yellow on that tomato red---to die for. And it stands out from everything around it. And the reflections on its side are like a lineup of cars. Wouldn't it be great to be able to shoot this in its own space, away from everything else, and just let it sing? Such clarity---these kinds of hues are difficult in any medium, in painting, drawing, and I assume in 3D. I find that, even with a good camera, it takes patience to get this hue combination. Beautiful shot.
