Description
After the Arena Novitiate series I thought poor Vivi deserved a couple portraits that made her look like less of a n00b - even though in that series she is a noob.
Here she is in full regalia many many years later, looking more respectable but still sexy. Most of her garments produced by the excellent vendors here (see credits below), with some made by the equally excellent vendors at Daz. No story attached because I suspect I'll poco a poco tell her tale in the future.
So instead I'll just tell the tale of the picture itself I usually don't post my images because there's always something I'm embarrassed about. Here the main problem is the background - I should have adjusted the surfaces and given life to the flames. I could do it now but I decided not to improve this image because I also decided her face is too squared off. She looks cute, but a bit too naive; which is a good look for the Arena Novitiate stage of her life but not for the period of her life this image is meant to be in. So I'll likely have to re-render. When I have time to learn how to do effects better, which isn't now since I'm crunched on time.
So I'll ask for helpful advice and critique though: If you get a chance to look at both this one and the one to follow (Portrait 01), let me know which facial shape you like better. Thanks in advance!

I looked at the other one first and decided not to comment on it. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite work. This one is excellent. I definitely like her expression here much better. Possibly that has to do with the face. I had to look closely to see if that was blood on her hands, then discovered it was lace. The scene is excellent, the lights in the back on the tables are an interesting effect that fits with the scene. Shadows are excellent. I definitely like this one a lot more.
