Description

I recently posted a rose that had not bloomed yet. this is it's sister. both are on the rose bush standing proud while the other roses have wilted from the freezing temperatures here. it is trying to bloom, but if does not make it today for sure our forecasted mid 20's temperature Saturday and Sunday nights will nip in the bud

Cover the poor thing or cut it and bring it in. It's too beautiful to let it fall to old man winter.

So much beauty in a cold cruel world, hope it has a chance to bloom, even for a short time!

beautiful lighting, Richard, esp on the petals...they stand out beautifully from their deep dark background. You made a cameo of it, as if to give it its last moment of 'shine' before the cold comes. Very sensitively done.

Richard, I'm commenting by gallery, this weekend; and in alphabetical order; so you---being an "R"---are near the end of the list, lol. Sorry! It's just how it turned out. I will do as many of your images as I can (among the ones I missed). But I can't do more right now, as I'm headed out. But I wanted to get to you before I left, to tell you I'll be back tonight or tomorrow. And the next time I comment "by gallery," I'll start with the Z's, so you'll be near the top! I'll be back soon, when I'll comment on a lot more of your pieces...
