Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

The packaging, is clever. Nice little twist pulling a safety pin, especially if that fragrance is omnipresent! Well captured!

I like the design of the bottles and I like the way you captured them. If I were a woman I would want to use whatever is in them!

They look so beautiful in this lovely capture.

You missed something in your description. Obviously this perfume has an "explosive" fragrance. Clever packaging and a dynamite capture.

My favorite pat of the photograph is the bottom third. Reflections, grain, light, shadow, color ... it's compelling!

People who're expecting your more phatasmagorical treatments might find this more bland, by comparison; but shots like these show your equal engagement with the bottles, in their own language. The real center of the shot is the large bottle, brought out by that light over "Agent" (and the dimmer light above it). It's turning to greet that light. And the smaller bottle faces another direction, as if it were a child with roaming eyes, next to its mother. With Tara, your ground reflections and slight grain make this a soft gold-hued shot. And the big black box-facade is the necessary foil to those beautiful peach oranges and golds. A beautiful shot, also worthy of the series it's part of. Very classical (proportioned, balanced, etc...)
