the kind of detail you do expertly, and yet with an overall gentility that you manage to capture in the same shots. (The sharpness doesn't overwhelm the picture, in other words, it blends into a larger, encompassing view.) The woman is the big vertical here, and she stands out beautifully against all these horizontals (the waves, etc). And you got the diagonal front waves, and a quiet whisper of peaks in the background. Beautiful piece, where the white wave-caps are accents against all that blue. The woman couldn't be caught in a better spot...
