January, 2016 T.N.A. Headquarters Secure Channel 256 MOST SECRET To Her Royal Highness Queen Zlata the Gentle Greetings to you, Your Eminence, and may this find you well! It is my pleasure to inform you that your messenger, Arquinia has arrived safely, and is now being accorded every honor and courtesy. We welcome her, and she will be well cared for. She has entered into a world filled with darkness. Evil men, unbridled greed and corruption, threats of war, unspeakable deeds; these are our daily fare. Now is the time for our worlds to join forces and defeat this darkness, lest it spread across this world and beyond. This is the first step in that direction. We have long noticed Arawen's uncanny abilities. She is a skilled fighter, her reactions are lightning fast. She seems able to anticipate a foe's moves, and counter them with little effort. She frequently seems to know instinctively when a situation is becoming dangerous. She thinks fast, and can come up with creative solutions to many situations, seemingly with little effort. Things are beginning to make sense, and fall into place. As she is currently on assignment, I have dispatched a communication to our Second in Command, Melanie, over secure comm links. We have called a special meeting to discuss the options for Arawen's special training. Arquinia will be introduced to our top staff at that point. In the meantime, we will arrange for her to begin our training regimen. We are confident that her abilities will carry her through the training with great success. This is great Rod!! Nice twist and a hint at Arawen's possible secret origins. On top of that a cool new character. A sister? That hook is firmly stuck in my mouth. Can't wait to see what's coming.

Awesome work on the image and the message is perfectly written for this scenario. Great mystic light and editing.

you've a real way with words and story, and I love what you did with this. I like your "she's coming!" storyline, and I love the formal letter, and how you incorporated Zlata's text into your image. The image has a real fae feeling, it's steeped in mists and deep greens, with touches of red everywhere, and a big beautiful moon. Ar's hair is beautiful, and you've lit and textured her beautifully too, with a beautiful outfit, etc. And she walks out of the shadow to greet us. Beautiful work; and, as a precursor, it's a wonderful taste of things to come. Bows for all you put into these, Rod.

I just haven't been around enough to know exactly what Mike did with Zlata. I assume Zlata was created by someone else, right? But Mike turned her into Queen Zlata, thus elevating her to a new height? I know he's now associated with her forever. I love the character, and I love what he did with her. And I love the dialogue you two have, and the mutual respect too...
