Description

One of the photos I took while visiting my brother in Massachusetts a few years ago. I'm fascinating by graveyards and gravestones. Thank you so very much for looking, and for all of your comments.:)

Wow what beautiful, serene and quiet scene.

Like you I am amazed by the gorgeous well kept and not so well kept grave yards and what they have to offer.

My grandfather ( Dad's Father ) and some of his closest relatives and neighbors were buried in a pasture many years ago and it is very difficult to find some markings. The old head stones are falling and the grass is knee deep in the summer. Sadly it wasn't kept up and is too far away for me to visit.

I am sure this one cost a small fortune to put up, hopefully it never gets criminally vandalized by the no goods that never get caught.
