Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

It's a very cool scene, and could explain what I'm doing wrong. My idea of romance is a text invite to a dinner at The Spaghetti Factory.

Don't know why? Wouldn't the skirt wrinkle if she was in that position? Oh, It's been fairly mild until yesterday -snow blowing side ways in a 40 mph wind. Snow devils in the back yard.

I think the skirt turned out good. The upper fabric draped nicely. If what you are not liking is the skirt folds it might just take a bit more tinkering , or if all else fails, try re-texturing with a more solid fabric. This is a lovely romantic scene. Very nicely done.

Very nice image, GrandmaT. I hope they get away and enjoy their life together. And I agree with you, sometimes the skirts or dresses are hard to pose with the girl when she is kneeling. Hope you have a good day.

"Come sail away..."
A lovely render and romantic story, Teri! Nicely done!
I've been playing with dynamics a little more - they can be a hair-puller, all right!

Very romantic scene how like Indian films.

she definitely looks transformed, like she has dreams of another kingdom...Clothing people in somewhat loose clothing appears like a major challenge in Poser---I've seen that in many artists' work. I have no clue how it's done. But her blouse and skirt flow loosely and in a relaxed fashion. And the man seems at her service, and he's dressed equally well. (If I sat in that posture? For 2 minutes? You'd have to carry me out...The woman would be in Spain, but I'd be left behind in Calcutta, hoping someone could get me to stand straight at least once before I died...) You've placed them against an angle in the walls---a really fine choice---wIth the vines most intense at the point where they meet. A fine romantic scene; and if this were Bollywood, they'd break into song...Delightful.

I wish I could do so well with dynamics as you can. I think it looks splendid.

Unless they're married, the Rajah's guards should be showing up soon to beat him soundly with truncheons!

Good luck for the lovers!! ;-)

I thought the skirt was quite well done. Like your story. Can only hope the captain will remain faithful to her and is not a treacherous person who will brush her aside later; that would be a terrible love tragedy.
Like the poses of the two as well. Really romantic. :)
