Description

I walked into town yesterday because it was dry and sunny for a change after all the rain we've had recently. This is the town end of the street I walked along. It's quite a bit longer than it appears in this photo, but I took the photo from one of the places where the "vanishing point" makes the buildings seem to meet. You can see the roof of Winchester Cathedral dominating the skyline at that point.

All this and no lens distortion! Great. Lets make a deal: I live in the wild and wooly Arizona desert and you live, apparently, in jolly old England.( I am sure you are tired of foggy cold days, warm beer, and French tourists; like I am tired of sunny hot days, cold beer, and Canadian tourists. ) Let's trade for a few weeks. I am sure you want to photo a rattlesnake at the Grand Canyon, and you know I want to photo an old Morris Minor at Stonehenge! Sounds like a match made in heaven! Regards

I would love to come over to Arizona - especially at this time of year when it's cold and foggy and damp here! I've never seen a rattlesnake - or the Grand Canyon - so I'd welcome a new photo opportunity! All I need now is the cash for the air fare and a hotel room and you've got a deal!
