I do not recall seeing a rose take so long to bloom especially after 3-5 freezes

in this shot, you used the beautiful hues of the background to mingle with the rose. I love the dark green on the left, and how it gives contrast to the rest of the shot (where the rose is). Delicate bowed bloom, with deep pinks and reds; and its leaves on the right are beautiful balance. Those yellow-peach tones back there couldn't be a better background. Beautiful.
