Description

As I was clearing up the mess that governs my things, she jumped out of an old box, I lost all memory, containing some items saved from the flood that hit my home in 1991. Among other things there was the cover, almost illegible, an old 45 rpm of 1973 to Bob Marley (who knows why only the cover) "I shot the Sheriff". I immediately remembered the refrain of the song (and many other fond memories) and I wanted to dedicate to the song and the artist that my work. I hope you like it.

moody and sad, with a very strong group of colors---your yellow is a deep "jaundiced" yellow; your reds are blood-red; and the browns of the shadow and of the car are almost menacing. A strong evocation of a past world, way out in the American countryside...with a feeling of unexplained loss. The legs in front are terrific: They "define" the image. It's like a scene from a Sergio Leone film...fine work from you, once more.
