Description

Some time ago I started a series "Streets Of My Hometown". I try to go on with this series of Heidelberg photographs in 2016. This shot was taken in the old city. Thanks for viewing.

Wonderful scene! Timeless. Very nice to be in a place where one's surroundings would have been almost the same for one's great-grandparents and before. I'd imagine it gives one a comforting sense of community and continuity.

I love those narrow cobblestone streets; I'm guessing there's not much of a speeding problem in that part of town! Charming town, and a beautiful shot!
