Yeah...... I'll bet he really felt like a badass after that.... Idiots.... I have a real issue with stupid rent-a-cops getting all pushy when they see someone taking photos. What are they so concerned about? If they don't want to attract photographers, don't build a reflective building, then put a fountain next to it. If you're on public property (I see tables and chairs in the reflection), no one has a right - legal or otherwise - to interfere.
Great shot despite the gestapo, Richard!

Richard I really like this photo. That is a great POV and I like the reflection on the building glass!!!

That's so strange that you could not take pictures there, Richard, besides you have two pictures in one shot; plus, the result is fantastic.

so you had to use the 50D, and not the MKIII: Well, you got really scintillating textures and lights on that water; and your pov makes it look like this building is sunken into the water! An amazing effect. The contrasts of the fountains in real light---compared with the fountains in reflection---is beautiful. As are those yellow umbrellas (I assume also in reflection). Very fine split down the middle too: A scintillating capture of water and glass and stone. A very pleasing capture.
