I wouldn't worry about the eyes so much unless you were doing a portrait that the head was Close enough to see them clearly. the emotion pose should set the eyes for you for any distance.

This is a very nice render Christ. I always think of angels from the perspective of the bible, and they either have great purity and light or they are evil and filled with darkness, with no beauty since evil has no beauty. But, you often give your renders of angels an interesting twist, where you see the beauty and perfection of God, and the fires of hell. I think you have a very unique perspective on angels, and other mythical creatures. Nice work!
