I love how this turned out. Something simple, as i normally have half a million things in a scene, i should do more with less in it i think.

Wonderful character and atmosphere. Really nicely done. I think you hit a very happy medium here to show off the main character. It would be an interesting experiment to see how minimalist you could go and still have a sandstorm. Might work with just the sky and the dunes but not sure the atmo would come across. Regardless, your work came across as a fine character and a believable sandstorm. Fine work.
