I know skies are one of your many expert categories, and I've never had any luck with them, unless they were accompanied by huge bodies of water or landscapes. What makes your skies stand out is how much drama and beauty you capture with almost nothing else in them: Even the trees in many of your skies are merely the 'ground' for them, and no more---and that takes guts. Because when most of us shoot a 'pure sky', we just fall in and get lost: We don't get what Cartier Bresson called "the decisive moment". We miss it. But you get it over and over. Kudos!
Beautiful hues, textures, softness, shadows and bursting fiery tones. And the trees are the natural bottom to the shot. You got whole mountain-ranges of clouds above. More wonderful sky work from you, a real beauty of a capture.
