Martigan twisted his prize towards him so he could get a better look, and further embarrass Vivianna by leering at her. He ran the back of his hand down her rib-cage, sending a shiver of outrage down her - and another feeling, which caused her face to flush and her body to quiver with even more vexation. Her mouth opened wide as she yelped out, inflamed, and she reached back with her free arm and swung it repeatedly towards her opponent! Vivianna started flailing his head and shoulders with the chain that once held her bound to the arena floor, cracking it back and forth whip-like. Martigan smirked, and laughed off the blows that showered against his helmet, causing a dinging sound heard around the Arena. About half the crowd laughed at Vivianna's meager efforts, which seemed ineffective against the colossal gladiator. But some of the crowd started to sympathize. About half the spectators again turned on Martigan, inspired by the spirit his weaker opponent was displaying. They cheered her on, even while thinking that she stood no chance - she was up against a machine too strong. But whatever her fate was going to be, they admired her grit in the face of it and gave voice to their respect for it!
