Description

Greetings everyone. I hope you are having a fine Sunday. Today I offer you the Tiny Dancer, this time back in her little glass house. I wasn't convinced on the previous version so I gave our dancer in this one an overload on her specular channel and I was pleased to see her porcelain surface come more to life. Some of you one the last one wondered if she was a figurine and yes that is what I hoped she would be. At any rate i do hope you can enjoy the remake. Thank you for your views and your comments. They are really appreciated. Peace to every one. BTW...SuperFly took a whooping 72 hours at its highest render settings to calculate this one. There were over a 178K samples calculated.

Poor her! Trapped in glass! Will anyone free her? And, if so, what boon might she bestow on them?

There's a beautiful, stylized surreal vibe in this render that I haven't seen elsewhere in a long time. Wonderful job, my friend!

Marvelous work! I'd never reach 72 hours. I'd be gnawing the furniture long before that.

This is really outstanding,,,but 72 hours? I couldn't leave my computer alone for that long.

Well having an extra laptop helps but yes, it is painful to watch. One thing positive I can say is that Poser 11 seems very stable. No crashes or freezes. Poser 9, my older backup version, tends to freeze up on renders where the sample size gets large or there are complex calculations going on.

The glass looks beautiful--but for me a 72 hr render just is not doable--I can paint a 18 by 24 oil painting in 72 hours :D I do love the textures and the details on her skirt, though!
