Hamamelis x intermedia 'Diane' , in flower from about Christmas till February, although this year, amazingly, the Witch Hazels have flowered rather late! See the yellow one Here

What a fantastic colour Hazel you have, Andrea, I've never seen this colour before, and I love it. btw, We didn't eat our Marigold yet, I just use it in my herb-tea. One can make a good cream of it. This I'll do when we have more of them. 😊

well at least 2 people saw tortilla strips or confetti. That's pretty close. And the buds look a little like sleigh bells. What a wholly fascinating capture. In full zoom, it's like the detritus that vacuum cleaner rollers pick up from carpets after a party. A real crinkled, wrinkled bunch. Just fascinating, and the hues are beautiful, with that deep purple on the buds in contrast with those reds...
