Description
In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King's vision of equal rights for all through non-violence and the gathering of all to the "Table of Brotherhood," I tried to imagine such here, I could have done far better than I did, but I wanted to get this posted. It's already been a week since the King holiday here in the States.
Basically, here we have a group of under-thirtysomethings discussing the issues surrounding their city and what could be done about them. Perhaps with a bit more forethought I would have added more diversity to this gathering.

(And yet, some fifty-three years since the March on Washington, we as a people-of ALL races-still have very much a way to go before we're all "free at last"...)

As long as there are those who cling to the past 'Glories' and ignorance, there will be the hatred and fear that plagues us now.
Wonderful image and great commentary

very good work on this. progress has been made if at only a snail's pace
Desgar
True. I suppose a snail's pace is better than no pace at all given the long history of race relations. Thanks, Richard.

One day, perhaps we will come to realize we're all pretty much the same - despite the hue of the covering that keeps our insides.... inside. We all bleed red.
Excellent thoughts and render.
Desgar
Very well put, Rod. Thank you.

You did a fine creative job on this render. Perhaps the waitress needs to return with some more coffee though? Excellent work! Bravo!
Desgar
LOL, good point on the coffee refill. Thanks, Bill!
