Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I read your title and was thinking "yellow heads?" And damned if they don't have yellow heads. Or they may be Minions. I can see the faces on them. This is some spectacular fountain. Nice catch.

LOL I was thinking it was some flower with a yellow head. This is sure a fun shot.

god, how did you ever get this shot? You must've cropped it down, but even so, it means you SAW this juxtaposition in your photo---enough to make you crop it down to this shot. Terrific photographic thinking, Marilyn. It's a terrific street shot. And the combo of those yellow helmets with the big sprays of the B.Fountain is just great. With those blue buildings in the background---love this shot. Great job.
