Description

a friend of mine that has a set of twin sons and one older son was wanting to move to a different neighborhood and put his house up for sell and had a purchaser in a weeks time. he put a contract a new home , but the bank, etc. kept delaying the closing for weeks. he paid the new owner of his old house to stay there for a few days.then he was either staying with a cousin or in a hotel. today, he finally got the key to the new home(for him). I went over today to help him paint some rooms, but was unable to finish as I was dog tired. going back in the morning to finish painting. I will not be able to post in the morning so I am posting now with an explanation. I will be behind a couple of days

I'll bet there's a heck of a view from way up there... Very cool capture, Richard!

I can relate, my friend - I'm still tired from that table installation back in September... LOL

Cool photo of very interesting architecture. But also very interesting trackage, particularly the lower right corner. Where is it coming from, and where is it going to? Any chance of a photo of the light rail vehicles?

Keep up the good work! :-)

That is a very impressive tower that dominates the surrounding area. A lovely clear capture and I hope you are feeling more refreshed tomorrow. 😄

It's nice that there's still around people like you who sacrifices his spare time to help friends. What does you credit! Great shot also!

like your landscapes, this has striking detail throughout, and it brings the background 'forward' in the process. This is a fascinating tower; and I never realized that the hotel sits in such a flat area: We have such hotels in Chicago---they create their own high-rise world; but drive one block, and the area flattens out. You caught this in an angle where it's the 'high point' of the hotel complex. And the stunning pebble details (around the tracks) and lines in general give great life to the shot. Sweeping and crystal clear. I really like this shot!
